Welcome to Youth Can Move the World

We're a Peel-based group that organizes an annual symposium for youth to learn about and get involved in programs focused on creating a world that is socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable. It's also designed to encourage youth to engage with community-based organizations, to explore opportunities to transform their interests into action through volunteerism. Youth Can Move the World is inspired by the UN's Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.

Join our 2009 Organizing Committee!

We are looking for people to join our Communications Team, Arts & Culture Team, Fundraising Team, and Volunteer Team.

Our first Youth Organizing Committee Meeting date has been set, and which all youth are invited! Please feel free to bring along any friends that are interested as well.

Lunch and bus tickets for those who will be taking public transportation to Sheridan College (Brampton Campus) will be provided this day.
