Welcome to Youth Can Move the World

We're a Peel-based group that organizes an annual symposium for youth to learn about and get involved in programs focused on creating a world that is socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable. It's also designed to encourage youth to engage with community-based organizations, to explore opportunities to transform their interests into action through volunteerism. Youth Can Move the World is inspired by the UN's Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.

Youth Can Move the World Symposium 2009

Upcoming Symposium: February 21, 2009!

Last February, you may have joined 250 other passionate young people (ages 15-25) at the Peel Board of Education to help Change the World. It was a day filled with exciting speakers, 24 agencies with volunteer opportunities, entertainment, networking, food and inspiration – all under one roof, in one spectacular day. We hope you enjoyed the symposium last February.

If you weren't there, we’re busy planning the 2009 symposium! Make plans to join us on Saturday, February 21, 2009!
